Suftnet Ltd ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Revvo mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Revvo.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account information: your email address, password (stored hashed, never in plain text), and full name, used to create and secure your account.
- Content you create: documents you upload, pages you scan, text you paste, and notes you write, sent to and stored on our servers so the AI can use them to answer your questions.
- Conversations and generated material: your chat messages with the AI Tutor, and the quizzes, flashcards, summaries, and Smart Writer output generated from your material, stored on our servers under your account.
- Voice recordings: when you use voice input, your audio is sent to OpenAI's API to convert it to text and is not retained by us or OpenAI after transcription.
- Scanned images: when you scan a document or photo, the image is sent to OpenAI's API to extract text and is not retained afterwards.
- Purchase information: We use RevenueCat to process in-app purchases. RevenueCat may collect your device ID and purchase history to manage your subscription status.
- Local device data: preferences such as text size and theme, and free-tier usage counts, stored only on your device.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the AI Tutor, Quiz, Flashcards, Summary, Smart Writer, and voice input features
- To index your documents so the AI can answer questions using your own material
- To create, secure, and manage your account
- To manage your subscription and premium access via RevenueCat
- To enforce free tier usage limits
- To improve the App's functionality and user experience
3. Third-Party Services
Revvo uses the following third-party services:
- OpenAI: processes scanned images, voice recordings, and your study material to power the AI features described above. OpenAI's privacy policy applies to this data. Visit openai.com/privacy

Your documents and conversations are also indexed on our own servers to power search and AI answers.
4. Data Storage
Your account, documents, chat conversations, quizzes, flashcards, and summaries are stored on our servers, tied to your account, so they're available whenever you sign in. Notes are drafted locally on your device first and are only sent to our servers when you choose to sync them. Deleting a document, module, or your account permanently removes that content, including its indexed data, from our servers.
5. Camera & Microphone Access
Revvo requires camera access to scan your notes and documents, and microphone access for voice input. Both are only used when you actively choose to scan or use voice input. We do not capture or transmit images or audio without your explicit action, and neither is retained after processing.
6. Children's Privacy
Revvo is suitable for users of all ages including students. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Passwords are never stored in plain text, and all communications between the App and our servers use encrypted HTTPS connections.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Delete individual documents, notes, or conversations at any time
- Delete your entire account and all associated data from within the App
- Opt out of premium services by cancelling your subscription
- Contact us with any privacy concerns
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
